PRO 3X3 TOUR TROGIR
Join us this May for sporting events!
This year, the city of Trogir has the honor to host the second season of the PRO 3X3 TOUR, a series of international 3×3 basketball tournaments, which will be held at an attractive location – a playground set up on the promenade next to the Kamerlengo fortress.
PRO 3X3 Tour will be held from the second half of May to August 2023 at attractive locations in 10 cities across Croatia. On Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, 2023, there will be a premiere presentation of the new Olympic sport to the residents and visitors of Trogir.
It is a unique sports-tourist-educational event that aroused the great interest among players, the audience and the public. The success of this tournament is evidenced by last year’s figures with over 500 competitors from the TOP 20 world and Croatian teams and more than 20 thousand live spectators during the entire Tour. PRO 3X3 Tour 2023 has the prestigious FIBA Quest status, which means that the winner of the final tournament will play on the World Tour in Debrecen (Hungary) in August, and the winners of each tournament will receive valuable cash prizes.
The prize fund for each of the tournaments organized by the PRO 3×3 Association amounts to:
1st prize: 2,000.00 €
2nd prize: 800.00 €
3rd prize: 400.00 €
This two-day tournament will host top both senior and junior teams, who will perform their master moves in the afternoon and evening hours. We are certainly expecting an adrenaline-fueled sports weekend marked by spectacular basketball matches.
In addition, the desire to promote the new Olympic sport encouraged the organization of the Kids Day program, which is intended for children and young people. Thus, children will have the opportunity to listen to and watch a short education about 3×3 basketball and its rules, as well as play on a real playground with an official ball.
