Enjoy your vacation responsibly

In an effort to better inform citizens and tourists about responsible behavior and appropriate reactions during the summer period, the Civil Protection Directorate is once again continuing the “Enjoy your vacation responsibly” campaign this year.

Through the “Enjoy your vacation responsibly” campaign, the Civil Protection Directorate aims to highlight the following:

Protection from the sun and UV radiation – avoid sun exposure between 10 AM and 5 PM, stay hydrated, and wear light-colored and lightweight clothing.

Be prepared for outdoor excursions – wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring water and food supplies, and ensure your mobile phone is fully charged.

Protect the environment from fires – lighting fires in open areas is strictly prohibited.

Follow the weather forecast – stay informed about warnings regarding dangerous weather conditions and heatwaves.
